Visual Arts is a wonderful subject to teach. The students love trying new things. The best thing I do when the students no longer focus on their artwork and when talking to friends becomes more superior to the task at hand I like to regroup. What does 'regroup' mean exactly?
Sometimes to regroup means to rearrange the groups of students who are working together. They like this because it means that they have an opportunity to meet a new friend that they can do classwork with.
Create group work from the activity that has been assigned or that you are planning to teach.
Create a Blooket for fun and to keep the students on their toes. It's a fun way to engage the students with the subject matter while making connections with other classmates.
